Tottenham might be worried about Sandro Tonali’s latest reviews from Italian press

Tottenham Hotspur record signing Sandro Tonali received mixed reviews from Italian media following Italy's 1-1 draw against France. Sky Sports Italia and Corriere dello Sport each awarded the midfielder a 6/10 rating for his display. While Sky Sports Italia noted Tonali lacks Andrea Pirlo's intuition despite showing solidity, Corriere dello Sport criticized him as overly casual on a clearance but credited him for limiting Ousmane Dembele.

Tonali's performance was also rated at 6.3 by FotMob, making him the lowest-rated Italian starter in the match. The scrutiny comes amid Tottenham's winless start after five Premier League games, alongside recent criticism from pundit Graeme Souness questioning Tonali's impact following his big-money transfer from Newcastle United.
