Sweden manager Graham Potter has revealed that midfielder Lucas Bergvall was rested against Bosnia and Herzegovina due to workload management. Potter explained that Bergvall had played two matches in a short period after lacking regular playing time over the past month.
The Tottenham Hotspur youngster came on for the final 14 minutes of the match after previously starting against Romania and Poland. Bergvall has started only one Premier League game this season, alongside two Carabao Cup appearances for Tottenham.
