Exclusive: Pascal Chimbonda says one Tottenham star ‘doesn’t fit in the team’

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Pascal Chimbonda stated in an interview with Spurs Web that Archie Gray does not fit in the Tottenham team because his best position remains unclear. Gray has frequently covered at right-back amid fitness struggles for Pedro Porro, who is now facing a month on the sidelines following a hamstring injury suffered during Tottenham's 3-2 defeat against Aston Villa.

Chimbonda defended the club's summer sale of Djed Spence to Inter Milan for £30m, noting Spence would not have been a first choice. With Tottenham sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table after five matches, Chimbonda also argued that the squad must provide more support and make better use of striker Dominic Solanke in attack.
