Ireland allrounder Simi Singh has officially announced his retirement from professional cricket. Born in Punjab, India, Singh moved to Ireland in 2006 and debuted internationally in 2017 at the age of 30. Over his career, he represented Ireland in 35 ODIs and 53 T20Is, compiling more than 2,000 runs and taking 83 wickets before playing his final international game at the 2022 T20 World Cup.

Singh achieved notable milestones during his international career, including becoming the first batter in ODI history to hit a century from No. 8 against South Africa in 2021. After overcoming acute liver failure and undergoing a transplant surgery in 2024, he established a coaching academy in Punjab.
