One of the most important quarterbacks to ever play the position says he would take Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow over Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson.

Former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback and 1981 NFL MVP Ken Anderson stated he would take Joe Burrow over any quarterback in the league in any situation. Anderson defended Burrow amid recent national criticism following a costly late fumble against the rival Pittsburgh Steelers, which dropped the Bengals to a 2-1 record and left Burrow with a 1-34 career record when trailing in the final eight minutes of regulation.
Anderson highlighted Cincinnati's improved offensive line and defense, which added interior lineman Dexter Lawrence II, as reasons Burrow will not need to be perfect to win. Speaking during a media tour with healthcare company Heartflow, the 77-year-old expressed confidence that Cincinnati remains a Super Bowl contender.
