The Canadiens avoided disaster thanks to captain Nick Suzuki, who heroically put the team on his back against the Penguins on Saturday.

The Montreal Canadiens battled back from a four-goal deficit to salvage a point in a 6-5 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday. Captain Nick Suzuki spearheaded the late surge by recording four points, including setting up goals by Chris Kreider and Ivan Demidov just 24 seconds apart in the final minutes of regulation to force overtime.
The Hockey Writers argues that Suzuki's performance got Montreal back on track following two consecutive underwhelming outings to start the campaign. While Pittsburgh took control behind an Evgeni Malkin goal and Declan Carlile score on goaltender Jakub Dobes, Cole Caufield also scored twice for Montreal.
