Anthony Davis is entering Year 15, and this time he will be with the Washington Wizards, trying to remind people of his true talent. For the third year running, Davis will be starting the season with a new franchise.
Washington Wizards big man Anthony Davis stated on the Numbers on the Board podcast that people have forgotten his true talent due to injury-plagued seasons, adding that he takes it personally. Entering his 15th NBA season, Davis aims to prove he remains an elite player after being sidelined by a hand injury following his trade to Washington in February.
Davis expressed excitement about playing alongside fellow addition Trae Young and mentoring rookie first overall pick AJ Dybantsa. The Wizards hope the star duo can end the franchise's five-year playoff drought, provided they remain healthy.
