Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has been officially ruled inactive for a second consecutive game ahead of the Week 4 contest against the New York Jets. Williams continues to recover from a hamstring injury suffered in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings and could miss another one or two games. Tyson Bagent is expected to start at quarterback, backed up by Case Keenum.

The Bears' full inactive list also includes defensive back Cam Lewis, offensive lineman Ozzy Trapilo, and defensive linemen Jamree Kromah, James Lynch, and Jayden Loving. With Braxton Jones placed on injured reserve, Theo Benedet will start at left tackle, while rookie Malik Muhammad is slated to start at nickel cornerback.
