The Chargers might be sellers at the 2026 NFL trade deadline.

ESPN insider Adam Schefter has reported that Los Angeles Chargers edge rusher Khalil Mack could be a potential candidate for a move ahead of the NFL trade deadline. With the Chargers enduring a difficult start to the season and facing the possibility of falling to 0-4, Schefter noted that Los Angeles may receive calls regarding Mack's availability if the team cannot turn its fortunes around.
Mack is in the final year of his contract following a one-year extension signed earlier in the offseason, carrying an $18 million cap hit. Bolt Beat notes that moving the veteran edge rusher to a playoff contender could yield future draft compensation, while raising subsequent roster questions regarding younger players such as Tuli Tuipulotu and rookie Akheem Mesidor.
