Esteban Ribovics claims that he only missed weight due to air conditioning. After Ribovics retired Edson Barboza in August, the lightweight contender looked to keep…

Esteban Ribovics stated that an unintentional air conditioning issue at the fighter hotel caused him to miss weight for UFC 332. The Argentine lightweight weighed in at 156.5 pounds, resulting in the forfeiture of 20 percent of his purse to opponent King Green. Despite the weight miss, Ribovics secured a first-round stoppage victory over Green on Saturday night.
Ribovics explained that someone switched on the air conditioning while he was cutting weight as the last fighter in the room, causing the room to turn cold and halting his sweating. The victory marks his second consecutive stoppage win inside the Octagon following his previous win over Edson Barboza in August.
