Sale Sharks overcame a first-half 20-minute red card shown to Jacques Vermeulen to defeat Saracens 21-17 at StoneX Stadium. Vermeulen was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Tomos Williams during a chaotic opening half, but Sale responded with a dominant second-half display highlighted by a dynamic solo try from Tom O'Flaherty.
Nathan Jibulu opened the scoring for Sale before Ben Bamber added another try off a George Ford assist. Saracens responded through tries from Eroni Mawi, Sione Va'enuku, and Charlie Bracken, but Sale held on to secure the victory.
