After hosting teammates for braai, Marnus Labuschagne likely put to bed any doubt over his spot for the first Test

Marnus Labuschagne scored a rapid century for Australia in a tour match against a Cricket South Africa Invitational XI at NWU Oval in Potchefstroom. The 32-year-old reached an unbeaten 111 off 89 balls, including a 76-ball century, before captain Pat Cummins retired him out. The tour game ended in a draw with Australia finishing on 3-368 in reply to the CSA XI's declared total of 7-318.
Labuschagne shared a 115-run partnership with Steve Smith, who scored 61 runs off 95 balls. Additional contributions came from Alex Carey with 57 and Beau Webster with 42, helping Australia prepare for the upcoming three-match Test series starting in Durban.
