The Calgary Flames face a three-game schedule during the week of October 4-11, 2026, aiming to rebound from consecutive early-season losses against the Seattle Kraken and Vancouver Canucks. Head coach Ryan Huska is focusing on late-game execution and neutral-zone structure after the Flames conceded four unanswered third-period goals in Saturday's defeat to Vancouver. Calgary will travel to Seattle for a rematch before hosting the Colorado Avalanche and Anaheim Ducks at Scotiabank Saddledome.
Calgary is also managing the absence of veteran forward Jonathan Huberdeau, who remains on injured reserve with a hip issue. Young wingers Samuel Honzek and Matvei Gridin have taken on elevated top-six responsibilities, with the medical staff targeting a mid-month evaluation window for Huberdeau's potential return.
