Jalen Duren On New Deal: ‘I Want To Be A Detroit Piston For Life’

Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren reaffirmed his commitment to the franchise after signing a five-year, $200 million contract extension on Friday. Following a drawn-out restricted free agency process, the 22-year-old addressed the media on Sunday, stating he wants to remain with Detroit for the rest of his career and expressing belief in the organization's future.

Duren addressed offseason rumors claiming he felt disrespected and had considered signing his one-year qualifying offer. He dismissed the negativity, explaining that the negotiations provided valuable insight into the business side of the NBA.
