It's been a weekend full of firsts for the San Jose Sharks' prospect pool, whether those came at the collegiate or professional level.

Several San Jose Sharks prospects recorded major career milestones across collegiate and professional hockey over the weekend. In the NCAA, 2026 first-round pick Ryan Lin scored his first collegiate goal for the University of Denver against Alaska Anchorage. Fellow collegiate defenseman Haoxi (Simon) Wang followed suit by scoring his first goal for Boston University against Alaska Fairbanks.
At the American Hockey League level, multiple San Jose Barracuda players registered career firsts. Andre Gasseau and Eric Pohlkamp notched their first AHL points on opening night, while Leo Sahlin Wallenius later tallied his first AHL assist. Gasseau also scored his first professional goal in the Barracuda's second game of the season against the San Diego Gulls.
