MILWAUKEE -- Two tight games in the National League Division Series have the Brewers on the cusp of advancing and the Padres hoping to somehow, some way, hang on to avoid elimination.

Jackson Chourio hit a walk-off two-run single off closer Mason Miller in the ninth inning to give the Milwaukee Brewers a 4-3 victory over the San Diego Padres in Game 2 of the NLDS on Sunday. The win gave Milwaukee a 2-0 series lead as the matchup heads to San Diego for Game 3 on Tuesday.
Miller entered seeking a six-out save but walked three batters in the ninth before surrendering Chourio's decisive hit on a 101.3 mph fastball. Both teams struggled defensively, combining for five errors, but the Brewers overcame three miscues to move within one victory of reaching the NLCS.
