Celtics’ Jordan Walsh gets an unusual assignment with Paul George

Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla tasked young forward Jordan Walsh with explaining the team's standard to nine-time All-Star Paul George during a training camp drill. Walsh revealed to John Karalis of Celtics on SI that Mazzulla told him to speak up, prompting Walsh to help integrate the veteran into the franchise's culture.

Mazzulla aims to normalize peer-to-peer communication among teammates regardless of experience or status ahead of the regular season. The Celtics have prioritized team-bonding activities during their camp in South Carolina, including full-squad yoga sessions praised by guard Payton Pritchard.
