The Man City striker was taken off for Norway just days before the Premier League clash vs Liverpool

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland may be available to face Liverpool despite being substituted during Norway's match against Portugal on Sunday. Haaland was taken off in the 67th minute, prompting initial injury concerns ahead of the Premier League fixture at Anfield. However, Norway manager Stale Solbakken clarified that the substitution was due to fatigue rather than an injury after an intensive run of matches.
Haaland has scored seven goals in seven appearances for Manchester City this season. Norway teammates Leo Ostigard and Patrick Berg also attributed the striker's exit to exhaustion following a demanding schedule. Meanwhile, Liverpool face their own concerns after Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo returned early from international duty due to injuries.
