Bronny James is set to play his first NBA season without his father being a teammate, and teams other than the Los Angeles Lakers are keeping an eye on how he does.
Multiple NBA teams are reportedly expressing interest in potentially trading for Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James. According to a report by Heavy's Sean Deveney, an NBA executive stated that teams are monitoring James due to his rapid defensive development and readiness to embrace his designated role on the court.
While the Lakers are not actively attempting to dump James, Deveney noted that the team could explore a trade to secure future draft assets, potentially fetching one or two second-round picks. The 21-year-old guard appeared in 42 games for the Lakers last season, averaging 2.9 points and 1.5 assists per game.
