Joel Embiid jokingly revealed the one basketball play he has apparently used for the last time in a recent scrimmage with the Philadelphia 76ers. There is a lot of hype surrounding the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason.
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid jokingly announced that he may never dunk again during his NBA career. Speaking to media following a Saturday team scrimmage, Embiid reacted to a video of him completing a left-handed slam, calling it likely the last dunk of his career after previously stating he would avoid doing so.
The former MVP noted the dunk occurred after he was blocked on an earlier attempt. Embiid has consistently focused on managing lower-body health and previous knee injuries, with the report highlighting that his versatile scoring options allow him to play effectively without frequent dunks.
