During his interview with The Athletic, Antonio Conte looked back to his time at Tottenham…

Antonio Conte reflected on his past managerial stints in England during an interview with The Athletic. The Italian tactician claimed that Chelsea won the 2016-17 Premier League title as underdogs following the signings of David Luiz, Marcos Alonso, and N'Golo Kante. He also revealed that hearing people label Tottenham Hotspur as perennial losers who would never win anything drove him mad during his tenure in North London.
Conte managed Chelsea from 2016 to 2018 and Tottenham from November 2021 until March 2023, guiding Spurs from ninth to a fourth-place finish in his first season. Having left Napoli last summer, Conte hinted at his future plans, stating that he would be open to taking on a new coaching role mid-season if the opportunity is worthwhile.
