Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller predicts the Baltimore Orioles will trade for Atlanta Braves pitcher Spencer Strider this offseason. The projected trade proposal would send prospects Nate George and Wehiwa Aloy to Atlanta in exchange for the 27-year-old starter, with Baltimore seeking rotation reinforcements following a 79-82 finish in the 2026 season.
Miller notes that Baltimore could absorb Strider's remaining contract of at least $49 million as veteran pitchers leave the payroll. Strider posted a 4-2 record and a 5.31 ERA across eight starts in 2026, looking to recapture his previous All-Star form from 2023.
