Barcelona stars Pau Cubarsi, Xavi Espart and Marc Bernal among the finalists for the 2026 Golden Boy Award

Barcelona players Pau Cubarsi, Xavi Espart, and Marc Bernal have been named among the 25 finalists for the 2026 Golden Boy award. The young trio earned their nominations following impressive performances for the Catalan giants. They feature on the prestigious shortlist alongside fellow international prospects including Ayyoub Bouaddi, Lennart Karl, Junior Kroupi, and Yan Diomande.

Cubarsi is reportedly considered the favorite to win the award after winning La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup with Barcelona. The defender also won the World Cup and the FIFA Young Player Award with Spain under manager Luis de la Fuente. The award winner will be officially announced in Turin this November.
