The England coach has just finished his seventh ultramarathon in honour of his close friend

Sir Kevin Sinfield has completed his seventh and final UK "7 in 7" ultramarathon challenge, vowing to continue a lifetime commitment to fundraising for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in honor of his late friend Rob Burrow. Sinfield finished his latest challenge at Old Trafford ahead of the Super League Grand Final, having raised over £1.4 million in 2026 and more than £13 million across six years for the MND community.
While Sinfield explained that his current team of volunteers needed to step back, he revealed plans to potentially take the 7 in 7 challenge to Australia and New Zealand. His final route started in Hull and covered all 12 UK Super League club grounds, supported by sporting figures such as Steve Borthwick, Lewis Moody, Sir Gareth Southgate, and members of the Royal Family.
