The NFL has suspended line judge Jeff Seeman for two games without pay following a verbal altercation with Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride. The discipline, issued by vice president of officiating Ramon George, also included a suspension for referee Adrian Hill for an incident involving Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson.
The altercation occurred late in the fourth quarter against the New York Giants after Seeman did not call pass interference or holding on a play involving McBride. Cameras appeared to capture Seeman cursing at McBride, which prompted the NFL Players Association and executive director J.C. Tretter to demand an investigation.
