Steve Gleason was the star of the show on Monday as the Saints revisited one of the most celebrated moments in franchise history.

Former New Orleans Saints safety Steve Gleason returned to the Caesars Superdome on Monday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his iconic 2006 blocked punt. Gleason participated in a "Domecoming" event marking two decades since the franchise returned to the venue following Hurricane Katrina. Ahead of the Saints' 45-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, Gleason led a second-line parade through downtown New Orleans.
Gleason was diagnosed in 2011 with ALS, which has left him unable to move, talk, or breathe independently. Now 49, he has raised more than $65 million through his charity, Team Gleason, which assists individuals living with the disease and supports their caregivers through technology and equipment.
