Western Australia speedster says he's developing 'one of his greatest weapons'

Western Australia fast bowler Mahli Beardman is aiming to unsettle opposing batters with high pace as he returns from a seven-month injury absence. The 21-year-old suffered a lumbar bone stress injury after making his international debut for Australia against Pakistan in January.
Beardman has regained bowling speeds exceeding 140 kph and joined the Australia A squad for a 50-over series against India A in Puducherry. While managing his workload with white-ball fixtures, he targets a potential first-class debut in the Sheffield Shield later in the season.
