LIV Golf secures a possible $300m in financing from BC Partners Credit in order to emerge from restructuring before the 2027 season.

LIV Golf has secured potential financing of up to $300m from BC Partners Credit to support its emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy ahead of the 2027 season. The league filed for bankruptcy protection in the United States in September following the withdrawal of Saudi Arabian funding. The proposed investment remains subject to bankruptcy court approval and aims to transition players into equity owners of the league and its teams.
Participants are currently owed at least $45m, with top creditors including Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, and Dustin Johnson. The agreement extends player contract discussions until October 25, though golfers are under no obligation to commit to the restructured league format.
