SAN DIEGO — Here’s a friendly suggestion for the Brewers should they push ahead in the postseason. More Tony Plush.

Former Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Nyjer Morgan, known as "Tony Plush," was in attendance and threw the ceremonial first pitch before Jackson Chourio delivered a walk-off single in Game 2 of the 2026 NLDS against the San Diego Padres. Morgan, who hit the first postseason walk-off in franchise history during the 2011 NLDS, had shared a pregame fist bump with Chourio before the game.
Morgan was also present and threw the ceremonial first pitch prior to Milwaukee's only other postseason walk-off win in 2018 against the Colorado Rockies. Following the victory, Morgan praised the current Brewers roster for their timely hitting and fundamentals as they look ahead to Game 3.
