Former England pacer Stuart Broad and current wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler ranked the top 10 Test batters of this century amid the series between India and the West Indies.

Former England fast bowler Stuart Broad and wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler revealed their list of the top 10 Test batters of the 21st century on the 'For the Love of Cricket' podcast. Indian icon Sachin Tendulkar took the top spot, followed by West Indies legend Brian Lara in second and Australia's Steve Smith in third. Virat Kohli was ranked tenth, while Rahul Dravid took ninth place.
England batter Joe Root was placed fourth, right ahead of former Australia captain Ricky Ponting in fifth. Kumar Sangakkara, Jacques Kallis, and AB de Villiers occupied the sixth, seventh, and eighth spots, respectively. Root, who ranks as the only active player within touching distance of Tendulkar's Test run record, needs 1,643 more runs to surpass the historic milestone.
