Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur let it be known that he will no longer tolerate his players fumbling away the football.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur warned his players that continuing to fumble will result in benching following a narrow 17-14 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Running backs Kaleb Johnson and MarShawn Lloyd each fumbled during the game, with Johnson losing possession late in the fourth quarter. Lombardi Ave writer Scott Rogust argues that LaFleur is entirely justified in losing patience with the team's ball security issues.
Through four games, the Packers lead the NFL with 10 total fumbles and are tied for the second-most lost fumbles with three. With upcoming fixtures against high-scoring offenses including the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, and Detroit Lions, the writer notes that Green Bay must immediately resolve its turnover problems to remain competitive.
