The Story in 60 Seconds

Sale Sharks centre Alex Lozowski described the conclusion of his decade-long Saracens career as "sad" and "bewildering" after being sidelined during his final season. The 33-year-old England international made only two Premiership appearances last season and fell just short of reaching 200 matches for the club, with coaches preferring Olly Hartley and Nick Tomkins in midfield during the run-in.

Lozowski joined Sale during the summer alongside Joe Marchant and is set to face his former side on Sunday at the StoneX Stadium. Sale director of rugby Alex Sanderson also returns to face Saracens, having spent 17 years at the London club as a player and coach.
