Tensions spilled over among Ibrox heroes after they lost to their arch rivals in the final of the revived tournament
Former Celtic players Derek Riordan and Charlie Mulgrew mocked former Rangers defender Kirk Broadfoot on social media following a weekend legends tournament at Braehead Arena. Broadfoot had been filmed angrily confronting teammate Lee Robinson in the dressing room, telling the goalkeeper to take shots on the face after Rangers lost the final 5-4 to Celtic, with Gary Hooper netting the winning goal.
Riordan posted an image on Instagram showing Mulgrew blocking a Charlie Adam shot with his face, accompanied by the caption telling players to take it in the dish. Mulgrew subsequently shared the post alongside laughing emojis to poke fun at Broadfoot's furious dressing room tirade.
