Penguins Practice: Rust Returns; Kuzmenko Out?

Bryan Rust returned as a full participant in Pittsburgh Penguins practice on Tuesday following a preseason injury, skating alongside Ben Kindel and Ville Koivunen. Meanwhile, Andrei Kuzmenko skated as an extra forward, signaling he may be out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Washington Capitals after an ineffective season debut.

The Penguins also adjusted several other lines following Monday's 3-2 defeat against the Winnipeg Jets. Hendrix Lapierre was elevated to the top line alongside Sidney Crosby and Rickard Rakell, while Nick Robertson was moved down to the fourth line with Connor Dewar and Blake Lizotte.
