Man United legend Rio Ferdinand has launched a scathing attack on Portugal boss Jorge Jesus, urging him to take a drastic step with Ronaldo.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has urged Portugal manager Jorge Jesus to apologize to Cristiano Ronaldo following a reported rift between the two. Speaking on his podcast, Ferdinand criticized the 72-year-old manager for disrespecting the 41-year-old forward and warned that Jesus could face dismissal if he fails to admit he misjudged the situation.
The conflict arose after Ronaldo reportedly left the national team camp over Jesus favoring younger squad members. Although Portugal has won four consecutive UEFA Nations League matches to reach the quarter-finals, reports indicate Ronaldo will not return until Jesus is dismissed and his squad role is restored.
