The Philadelphia Eagles officially placed running back Tank Bigsby on injured reserve on Tuesday. In corresponding roster moves, the team also released linebacker Chance Campbell from the practice squad with an injury settlement and parted ways with linebacker Anfernee Orji from the practice squad.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Bigsby is undergoing core muscle surgery with hopes that he can return in six weeks or potentially sooner. Through four appearances with the Eagles, Bigsby has recorded 91 rushing yards on 28 carries along with three receptions for 10 yards and one touchdown.
