The Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty to correct following their 27-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns, but Ben Roethlisberger believes one of their biggest problems was also one of the most basic.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger criticized the team's poor tackling following their 27-24 road loss to the Cleveland Browns. Speaking on his podcast, Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger, he emphasized that fundamental tackling failures undermined the defensive unit led by head coach Mike McCarthy.
Roethlisberger noted that the Steelers were fortunate to remain in contention late in the game, pointing out that Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson missed an open receiver on a potential game-sealing throw. He stressed that Pittsburgh cannot rely on opponents' missed opportunities to mask basic defensive mistakes.
