During the Atlanta Falcons' 45-24 victory against the New Orleans Saints, Peyton Manning mocked NFL officials while reviewing a challenged fumble by Saints running back Kendre Miller. Manning joked on the ManningCast that since referees are cursing at players, they should at least get fumble calls right, referencing a recent controversy involving Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride.
Manning's jab followed an incident where CBS cameras captured line judge Jeff Seeman telling McBride "F— you" during Week 4. The NFL suspended Seeman for two games for unprofessional conduct, alongside a one-game suspension for referee Adrian Hill. Following a replay challenge, officials ultimately confirmed Miller fumbled the ball.
