New York Giants wide receiver and primary kick and punt returner Braxton Berrios announced on Tuesday that he will require surgery on his injured foot and miss the remainder of the 2026 season.
New York Giants wide receiver and return specialist Braxton Berrios announced he will miss the rest of the 2026 season due to upcoming foot surgery. The eight-year veteran shared the news on Instagram following the Giants' 36-24 victory against the Arizona Cardinals, after which he was placed on injured reserve.
Berrios has been limited to just 14 regular-season games over the past three years due to multiple injuries, including a torn ACL in 2024. In five kickoff returns this season, the 31-year-old averaged 27.6 yards, alongside playing 24 snaps at wide receiver without recording a reception.
