Everton midfielder Merlin Rohl has revealed how taking up photography transformed his personal life and perspective during his first year with the Merseyside club. The German player started using a camera to document his teammates, supporters, and surroundings after making a conscious decision to step away from social media and stop consuming short-form digital content.
Rohl compiled his personal collection of images into a project titled Life with Everton, which chronicles his move from Freiburg to England in 2025. Among the highlighted photographs is a shot of thousands of fans lining Regent Road as the team coach approached Hill Dickinson Stadium before a March match against Chelsea.
