Comedian Josh Pugh has made over 60 appearances for his country and has some tales to tell...just like his fictional counterpart

Comedian Josh Pugh recounted how Turkish club Trabzonspor once attempted to sign a visually impaired Ukrainian player after watching him compete. Pugh, who has earned over 60 caps for England's partially sighted football team, noted humorously that the club's recruitment staff likely did not realize the nature of the tournament they were observing.
Speaking to FourFourTwo, Pugh discussed his international career, including scoring for England in the 2019 IBSA Partially Sighted Futsal World Championship final against Ukraine. He also highlighted the discipline required to balance international futsal training at St George's Park with his comedy touring career.
