Texans Signing LB Chad Muma To Practice Squad

The Houston Texans are signing linebacker Chad Muma to their practice squad on Tuesday, according to reporter Aaron Wilson. The 27-year-old enters Houston's system to bolster their defensive depth after spending time across multiple NFL rosters in recent seasons.

Muma was originally selected with the No. 70 overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2022 NFL Draft. After stints with the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots in 2025, where he recorded nine total tackles across eight games, he joins the Texans on a practice squad deal.
