Salahuddin Everett produced a stunning first-round knockout in Dana White’s Contender Series to complete his rise from runner to fighter

Ultimate Fighting Championship employee Salhahuddin "Sal" Everett has secured an official UFC contract after delivering a violent first-round knockout on Dana White's Contender Series. Everett, who previously worked as UFC CEO Dana White's personal runner and security guard, defeated fellow undefeated welterweight prospect Ozzy Martin during Week 9 of DWCS Season 10 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
Following the impressive stoppage, White awarded Everett a spot on the promotion's active roster. The 26-year-old transitioned from backstage operations to professional fighter, joining three other competitors who earned promotional contracts on the same night.
