The Pittsburgh Steelers have endured a turbulent start to the season, but they have now had an extra few days to recover following their Thursday Night Football game last week.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger expressed concern over whether 42-year-old Aaron Rodgers can endure the physical toll of a full 17-game season. Following a frustrating loss to the Cleveland Browns, Roethlisberger questioned Rodgers' durability given the high volume of hits and sacks he continues to absorb in the pocket.
Rodgers was sacked five times against the Browns despite still recording 299 passing yards and three touchdowns. Roethlisberger noted that even when Rodgers avoids sacks, the continuous hits could risk cutting the veteran quarterback's final NFL campaign short.
