Tottenham ace sends message to Roberto De Zerbi at exactly the right time ahead of Man Utd clash

Mathys Tel made a strong case for Tottenham Hotspur selection ahead of facing Manchester United after scoring five goals in four games for France Under-21s. The 21-year-old forward scored a hat-trick in a 7-1 European qualifier win over Switzerland, following goals against Iceland and Luxembourg. Tel will rejoin Tottenham aiming to earn his way back into manager Roberto De Zerbi's plans for Saturday's fixture.

Tel has struggled at club level this season, failing to score or assist in six Tottenham appearances before being omitted from the squad against Aston Villa for technical reasons. De Zerbi previously addressed Tel's positioning on the pitch following a draw with Everton, though he maintained he has no personal issue with the former Bayern Munich forward.
