JANE Clohessy reckons it runs in the family to keep her cool - just like her legendary dad Peter. The Munster and Ireland great was famous for performing on the biggest days. And his daughter believes her lack of nerves…

Jane Clohessy, daughter of Munster and Ireland rugby icon Peter Clohessy, is set to make her first international start for Ireland against Japan. The 27-year-old forward lines out in the second row for the fixture in Cork, crediting her calm and composed demeanor on the pitch to qualities inherited from her parents.
Clohessy came to the sport late before earning her Munster breakthrough in 2023. She overcame substantial setbacks on her path to international selection, including two fractures in the same arm earlier this year that briefly threatened her playing career.
