The Story in 60 Seconds

French forward Martin Terrier faces an uncertain future at Bayer Leverkusen following persistent injury struggles and limited playing time under multiple managers. Despite attracting interest from former clubs Stade Rennais and LOSC Lille during the summer transfer window, the 29-year-old remained in Germany but has managed only 75 minutes across two appearances this season.

Journalist Tristan Bernert reports that Terrier is largely viewed as a rotation player and expects the forward to depart Leverkusen either in January or next summer. Under contract until 2029 after joining for €20 million in 2024, Terrier could see French clubs revisit a potential permanent or loan move.
