Hawk Harrelson’s message before ALDS Game 3 is guaranteed to fire up White Sox fans

Former Chicago White Sox broadcaster Hawk Harrelson appeared on ESPN 1000's Waddle and Silvy to share a message for fans ahead of ALDS Game 3. Chicago entered the home contest holding a 2-0 series lead, placing the team one win away from clinching its first home playoff series victory since 1906.

Writer Noah Phalen argues Harrelson's rare public appearance will energize supporters as Guaranteed Rate Field hosts its first postseason game since 2021. Harrelson, who served decades as a broadcaster and briefly as general manager, retired after the 2018 season and entered the Hall of Fame in 2021.
