According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus received triple-figure inquiries and offers from both clubs last summer, though the Italian side refused to negotiate a permanent transfer.

Di Marzio stated that any potential future sale of the 21-year-old Turkey international could command a fee closer to €150m rather than €100m. Juventus have reportedly brought in Kerim Alajbegovic as a possible long-term replacement if Yildiz departs in an upcoming window.
