The Houston Texans have shaken up their roster, including adding a quarterback who is a threat with legs as well as his arm.

The Houston Texans have signed quarterback Mark Gronowski to their active roster in a reunion move on October 7. Gronowski previously spent time with Houston earlier this season, stepping in after injuries and roster changes behind starter C.J. Stroud. Along with adding Gronowski, the Texans also signed cornerback Jaden Davis, linebacker Chad Muma, and running back Deuce Vaughn to their practice squad.
Head coach DeMeco Ryans sought depth at quarterback due to Stroud's injury history and past absences. Additionally, Houston is expected to activate veteran safety M.J. Stewart to fill the final open spot on the 53-man roster following his recovery from a torn quadriceps.
